How can I verify the legality of VCA and SCC certificates?
Unfortunately, there are many fake VCA and SCC diplomas on the market. It is very important to make sure that you have authentic documents because it will allow you to avoid many problems, including losing your job. Only diplomas verified according to the procedures below are valid VCA or SCC documents.
VCA diploma
The VCA diploma can only be issued by a Dutch examination institute accredited by SSVV (Stichting Samenwerken voor Veiligheid) or by a Belgian examination institute accredited by BeSaCC (Belgian Safety Criteria for Contractors).
You can verify the validity of the VCA diploma only on the websites:
- https://cdr.ssvv.nl/ - the only official online database of all Dutch VCA diplomas
or
- https://csm-examen.be/cdr - the only official online database of all Belgian VCA diplomas
If you have a VCA document and your certificate number is not registered in one of the above databases, it means that you have a false document! Report this fact to your employer or client to avoid problems with projects in the Netherlands or Belgium.
SCC diploma
The SCC certificate can only be issued by a German examination institute accredited by the VAZ institute (from 2021) or a DAkkS institute (before 2021) or an Austrian examination institute accredited by the WKO.
The SCC document can only be issued by the examination institutes listed on the VAZ website.
If your document is not issued by one of the above institutes, it means that you have a false document. Report this fact to your employer or client to avoid problems with projects in Germany or Austria.
You can also verify the validity of the SCC diploma by sending a photo of your certificate to the following address: scc-zertifikat@vaz-ev.de.
